Markaudio’s M-DAC is something truly different in the world of audiophile quality hi-fi. The M-DAC is custom designed and built. The PCB architecture is a unique concept centred on the respected Phillips 1543 chip.
Why have we produced a unique DAC? We want to reproduce a warm, more mellow analogue sound, moving away from typical offerings which over-process or over-extend musical qualities embedded in quality recordings. The M-DAC emphasises the rich and natural tones of the human voice. String and wind instruments are faithfully reproduced without additional colouration or saturation of particular sound frequencies. Bass responses are made rich and full to more faithfully reproduce the traditional analogue tone.
All components have been carefully selected and tested to meet our specifications. The cabinet design is also unique. Made from high-density acrylic (HDA), the concept celebrates the existence of M-DAC. Its contemporary design features are not to be hidden away. The front leg lights up when the unit is powered. At night, the glow becomes a pleasant and soothing visual feature.
Connected to other quality components, the M-DAC forms an integral part of delivering a fine musical sound experience.
